When an individual dies, their estate needs to be managed.  This includes the payment of estate obligations, the proper transfer of legal title to property and other matters related to the estate.  This can be a trying time for the family.  The process of administering the estate is called probating the estate.  The appointment of a person to administer the estate is done by the probate court.  The manner in which the estate is probated depends on whether the individual who died had a last will and testament or died without a will.  The firm can assist in the appointment of an appropriate personal representative for the estate, assist with the administration of the estate and then assist with the closing of the estate.  Please note that the firm does not accept contested matters.
